I have been racking my brains out to understand why? Why take-over Haiti? As mused here.

It made no sense at all. Until I read the following statement in John Pilger's recent article 'Enslaved Haiti'.
'On 22 January, the United States secured “formal approval” from the United Nations to take over all air and sea ports in Haiti, and to “secure” roads. No Haitian signed the agreement, which has no basis in law.'
Now with that new precedent established as international law for every country in crisis, and duly stamped by the United Nations as the last refuge of all former sovereign nation-states – the new governing body which exudes global governance authority, by fiat, and by legal treaties, across the full spectrum of crises from Global epidemics to Global Warming to Global Financial Collapse to Global War on Terror to Global Population Explosion – the next country to be taken over may well be Pakistan! To both protect itself and the world from all the 'loose nukes' about to fall into Bin Laden's cold dead hands!
Now, no traitor from Pakistan even has to sign on the dotted line - all they have to do is continue on with accelerating the crises within...
And a great earthquake just about now, like the one which hit Kashmir in 2005, wouldn't that be just wonderful for a full-spectrum humanitarian takeover of Pakistan? We have the precedent set in Haiti – unopposed by the world!
An easy precedent setter — that's the only real compelling raison d'être for the take-over of Haiti!
